Website News and Updates
This page will keep you informed on changes and updates to this website.
April 2013 - I've added a couple of detectors to my collection this past month so the equipment page has been updated.
Feb. 2011 - Its almost spring and lots of people have been blowing the dust off of their detectors. The Clubs have been active. Lots of treasure clubs have updated their information with new websites, contacts and meeting times.
Oct. 2010 - Updated some pictures on the article page. Some clubs now have links to their new websites.
Oct. 2009 - A few clubs have updated links and a new pic was added to page 7 of the gallery.
June 2009 - New links added to the links page and a few clubs have been updated. Added a new pic to the gallery.
October 2008 - Updated Clubs information. A few new links have been added to the links page. New picture of an A. Craus Hutchinson soda bottle added to the Dec. '96 Bottle Dig page.
March 2008 - Hey! This page is new! Plus, new changes that will be noticeable in the future are coming soon. When this website was first built dial-up was the majority so it was designed to load fast for 56k. With high speed internet being the norm these days new pictures that are added will now be larger with higher resolution. Also, the gallery has 10 pics per page, which will be increased to 25 per page. Rather than re-number the pages we will spread the pics out over the 7 pages until each has 25. Then of course we will start a new page and so on. If your still on dial-up....sorry!
February 2008 - Some new clubs have been added. Lots of new links have been added to the links page as well.
December 2008 - Partnered with Google Adsense. Inserted add codes throughout the site. This will generate a little revenue to offset the costs of maintaining the site. If you see the adds CLICK 'EM!
April 2007 - I've purchased a tractor with backhoe and several other attachments. Added a pic to the gallery and listed it under the tools section. You'll probably start seeing it in future log sheets as well.
December 2005 - Since I had six detectors I figured I would sell one. I decided to part with Whites XLT since I no longer use ID machines. It also had the highest resell value. Removed its listing from the tools section. why do I no longer use ID machines? I found myself skipping too many pull tab signals. Thats a big no-no. It almost cost me a nice 14k diamond ring on a day that pull tabs were everywhere. I was stuck with a non ID'ing Stingray because the GTA was in the shop. I know for a fact I would have been skipping the tabs that day and missed that ring. (for those new to the hobby and reading this...a gold ring reads in the pull tab range)
January 2004 - Built and added the online treasure bookstore.
