Length of hunt: 30 Minutes.
Location of hunt: The south pasture at my house
Equipment used: Tesoro Sidewinder w/ 9" coil

Large costume ring
Comments: I know this ring isn't much to write about but it reminds me again, that no place is "hunted out". Late last year I tore down an old metal barn in the south pasture. This particular pasture was once the backyard of older homes from the 1940-50s. I've hunted it many times and today I decided to try my luck where the barn had been. Nothing...came up empty handed. As I left the south pasture and headed into the backyard I kept the detector on and swinging. I got a signal, which to my amazement, was the ring. I've hunted the backyard no less than a dozen times. Seems like everytime I got a new machine I would head to the backyard to try it out. I credit this find to the fast circuitry of the Tesoro. It was able to pick up the ring even though a large chunk of rusty pipe was in the hole with it. It gave me a fairly good signal when most machines would've let the pipe mask the target.
