Out of all the different types of treasure hunting and metal detecting, hunting ghost towns is my absolute favorite. This particular town was an oil boom town. It sprang up fast but like other boom towns it faded into history almost as quick as it came.
There is practically nothing left of this place and if you merely drove by you would have no indication that a bustling little town ever existed here. You would have to stop the car, get out and walk the plowed fields to see the small fragments of history left behind. Broken glass and china, marbles and metal trinkets litter the ground. Even then, the untrained eye, still may not realize your standing in the middle of a town.
This ghost town has been hunted by many over the past couple of years but I still found a few keepers today.
